Planning, Design & Initial ReviewAll we need from you is your project plans and supporting documents. We’ll conduct a review to identify the right approval pathway and flag any early compliance risks before we lodge your application.
Catching issues upfront saves you time, rework and delays later. It sets the project on the right course from the beginning.

Approval PathwaysIf your project requires a Complying Development Certificate (CDC), we’ll prepare and issue the certificate. If it's a Construction Certificate pathway, we’ll work with your approved DA and construction documents.
Getting the right pathway upfront avoids delays and costly changes. Each path has different timelines and requirements.

Pre-constructionYour Principal Certifier (that's us) needs to be locked in before construction begins. We’ll flag any pre-construction steps, and once you’ve ticked the boxes, we’ll issue a Notice of Commencement. From there, it’s just a 48-hour wait and you’re good to go.
This step ensures your certification process is compliant and that inspections can happen smoothly once the build starts.

Inspections during constructionWe’ll conduct mandatory stage inspections throughout the build, checking that construction complies with the plans, codes and approvals. We’ll issue clear reports and stay in touch with you throughout the whole build, so you’re not met with any sneaky surprises.
With next-day inspection bookings (when scheduled before 3pm and in our service areas), we help avoid costly delays and keep things moving.
Inspections are critical to your project's integrity and final approval. They also give you peace of mind that you're on the right track.

Completion & Occupation CertificateOnce construction is complete and all conditions are met, we finalise the certification and issue your Occupation Certificate (OC).
The OC is your formal approval to occupy or use the building. It confirms compliance and marks the end of the certification process.
