Becoming a certifier is a rewarding career that puts you at the forefront of the construction industry. As a Building Certifier, you’ll hold the crucial responsibility of reviewing Construction Plans and documentation, ensuring they comply with the Building Code of Australia and all relevant legislation. By becoming a certifier, you’ll be instrumental in the process of granting Building Approvals, allowing construction to commence.
Throughout the construction phase, you’ll conduct periodic inspections to ensure compliance. Collaborating closely with Architects, Engineers, Builders, and a range of professional consultants, you’ll work together as a cohesive team to ensure that the building is not only compliant but also safe and ready for occupation upon completion. It’s an exciting opportunity to be involved in creating spaces that meet regulations while ensuring the comfort and well-being of future occupants.
